REFUNDS: Unfortunately due to the limitations of this small business, no refunds are given at this time, only exchanges within five days of receipt.

 

EXCHANGES: Exchanges are accepted within five days of receipt of purchase. Return shipping costs and safe return are the responsibilities of the customer. Contact me for more information regarding exchanges

 

I charge a flat rate for packing, handling and shipping. I will ship by USPS Priority, which usually take 5-7 days for $10.00-20.00, depending on the size, weight and cost of the item. If you specify UPS, which is more expensive and a quicker delivery, I will charge based on weight, cost and destination, usually around $20-25.00, but higher fees for larger and heavier packages. 

Package Pick-up can be arranged by selecting that on your order. When you receive a notice that your package is ready for pick-up, text me (847.542.4129) to arrange a convenient date and time for pick-up.

 

CARE FOR THE CERAMICS: Though the porcelain work is dishwasher safe, I recommend hand washing, since handmade pots are inherently less durable than industrial ceramics.  On some pots I leave some surfaces unglazed. However, the work is fired at 2340 degrees Fahrenheit and at this temperature the work is vitrified. The porcelain work is fine in the microwave, excepting work with decals and lusters.

 

DECALS AND LUSTERS: I use decals and lusters on some of my work. If you purchase these works, avoid washing porcelain work with decals in the dishwasher-- the soap will wear down the decal surfaces. And, because the shiny silver or gold luster is metallic, do not use in the microwave and avoid the dishwasher because the soap will eventually etch the luster.
